Luxury Takes The Reins At An $8-Million Las Vegas Equestrian Estate

If you’ve never equated Las Vegas with equestrian estates, well, then think again.

This centrally located property sits at the base of Lone Mountain, about eight miles from Summerlin, Nevada. The more than 8,000-square-foot Hacienda-style luxury home occupies more than two acres along with pastures, a shock-absorbing riding ring secured with steel board fencing and a 60-foot-diameter round training pen.

Set behind custom-designed electronic gates, the grounds also contain two swimming pools and a spa.

Called the “House of Roses,” the main dwelling features Spanish tile, rustic wood accents, carved stonework, stained-glass windows, decorate wrought iron railings and archways.

A circular motor court centered on a fountain sits outside the front door, which opens to a rotunda entry. The adjoining living room flows into the kitchen, which features double sinks and a center island with bar seating.

Glass-paneled French doors open the formal dining room to the outside and a family room. Multiple courtyards expand the living space outdoors.

An ornate home office, a game room, a below-grade wine cellar, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a casita are among other interior spaces.

Accommodations for the resident horses are equally well-outfitted. There are seven stalls with automatic water and a box stall with an attached 30-foot covered run. The driveway encircling the property facilitates horse and supply transportation. A sprinkler system keeps dust under control.

In addition to the grass pastures, the landscaping includes 25 species of roses and fruit trees irrigated with well water. Trees line the perimeter of the grounds.

A remote-controlled gate at the back of the property accesses a 2.3-mile groomed riding trail at the adjacent 8.5-acre Lone Mountain Equestrian Park and Trail, which also has a covered riding arena and two pens.
